Maye Musk

I began my modeling career when I was 15 years old in Pretoria and Johannesburg. While I worked at modeling, I completed a BS degree in dietetics, had 3 children, then added a Master of Science degree while running a modeling school in the evenings. I worked diligently at my education, never imagining my modeling career would span more than 50 years.
After moving to Toronto at 42, I continued modeling, represented by the Elite Modeling Agency. I then obtained my second MS degree, in Nutritional Sciences, from the University of Toronto, and made time to rewrite the exams to register as a dietitian in Canada and the US. These qualifications and enthusiasm for good health sent me around the world on speaking engagements. My health tips are on www.mayemusk.com. Yes, I love being a busy lady!
By 50 I had moved to New York and my career took on an exciting new energy with major campaigns.
To celebrate my 60th birthday I stopped coloring my hair, cut it short and let my natural silver color shine. The new look brought a major campaign for Virgin America and Joe Fresh, billboards in Times Square, covers of Elle Quebec, New York Magazine, L'Officiel Azerbaijan and Zoomer Magazine, music videos and commercials, and recently the "It Girl" in Vanity Fair.
I love traveling for speaking engagements and modeling jobs. IMG Models represents me worldwide, so my passport and suitcase are always ready.
To increase good health in children, I serve on the LA Board of The Kitchen Community, building vegetable gardens in underserved schools around the country.
I love to say, "At 69, I am only just beginning!"

Icone: Linda Rodin
In her sixties today, Rodin is the model of spare elegance. She says of herself, “I really don't spend too much time getting ready! I like to be out the door in no time.“ It’s this natural, devil-may-care brand of beauty that won her modeling jobs when she moved to Italy to study at age eighteen. That was in the Mod Sixties, when Rodin wowed all with her Twiggy eyelashes, over-the-knee boots, maxi coat, and five-inch skirt “That was more like a handkerchief.”
Returning to New York in the Seventies, Rodin ran a successful boutique, perhaps one of the first "concept" stores in New York's Soho. She had stints as a stylist at Henri Bendel in the Gerri Stutz days, and then as a fashion editor at Harper’s Bazaar. Eventually, she became a freelance stylist— acknowledged as one of the best in the business.
Rodin has dressed the most gorgeous and charismatic women in the world; from Laetitia Casta, Madonna and Halle Berry to supermodels Gisele Bundchen and Adriana Lima.
